Ad agency, Gyro London, has been appointed as the lead global creative and strategic agency for audio tech specialists Jabra.

Jabra appointed the agency to handle its creative and strategic business globally following a four-way pitch overseen by CreativeBrief.

Gyro London, whose clients include BlackBerry and Time Inc, will lead the global advertising account and will be supported by its other offices in Singapore, Munich, Paris and Cincinnati. One of its first undertakings will be to create a global brand platform in order to boost its reach, drive global consistency and define a more engaging brand story.

Jabra is renowned for its broad range of communications and audio solutions, which include products such as wireless headphones and in-office speakers.

Senior director of marketing creation at Jabra, Rolf Berntsson, said Gyro represented “the perfect partner to take our brand as well as our business in headsets and audio solutions to the next level”.

He added that the company was “impressed with their global network and their truly collaborative approach to working together” and said its Gyro’s creative and strategic acumen would help “drive the brand forward”.

Kate Howe, managing director, gyro London said the agency was “excited” to take on the challenge and was “really looking forward to bringing Jabra’s passion and vision for a connected, global world to the forefront in a way that is humanly relevant".

The news follows on from a number of other clients to hire Gyro London including big data company Teradata, Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Watco UK flooring products and bio-based products company Corbion.
