PayPal has unveiled its first Christmas campaign as a standalone company, underlining how easy shopping for gifts online can be when using the payment service.

Working with Crispin Porter + Bogusky LA, PayPal produced a 60 second advert (and two 30 second spots) to highlight how handy the service is when Christmas shopping.

It shows savvy seven-year-old Peter's conclusion that he (and his brother) will endure a gift less Christmas because he hasn’t caught his parents trying to smuggle any the home before the big day (what ever happened to Santa Claus?).

The ad hammers home the convenience of PayPal for online shopping following its split from eBay earlier this year. It will air in the UK on ITV on Sunday 1 November 2015, continuing to 24 December 2015.
