Twitter asked me to participate in a social TV survey; Here's what they wanted to know
Hey, this is kind of interesting. I was browsing Twitter today and I was selected to participate in a study about my TV viewing habits. I found this out via a promoted tweet.
I decided to indulge Twitter and research partner Dogs Bollocks 5.
Here's what Twitter was interested in learning:
Twitter thinks its social TV competitive set is Facebook, Instagram, and Tumblr (for those scoring at home, that's a double win for Facebook)
Twitter is very interested to know what people are watching and when
I chose Sunday Night Football
My lack of second screen activity is of concern
While I didn't tweet, I was browsing Twitter
Apparently brands like to advertise on TV and on Twitter
