Twitter asked me to participate in a social TV survey; Here's what they wanted to know

Hey, this is kind of interesting. I was browsing Twitter today and I was selected to participate in a study about my TV viewing habits. I found this out via a promoted tweet.

I decided to indulge Twitter and research partner Dogs Bollocks 5.

Here's what Twitter was interested in learning:

Twitter thinks its social TV competitive set is Facebook, Instagram, and Tumblr (for those scoring at home, that's a double win for Facebook)

Twitter is very interested to know what people are watching and when

I chose Sunday Night Football

My lack of second screen activity is of concern

While I didn't tweet, I was browsing Twitter

Apparently brands like to advertise on TV and on Twitter
