Chinese state news shares insane animated video of government’s five-year plan
The Chinese state has released a psychedelic animated video to outlet what it has planned for its latest five year plan.
State news agency Xinhua published the propaganda to outline the country’s 13th five year plan dubbed the ’13-five’ on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party.
The landmark 13th plan, seeing as the USSR only managed 12, is promoted in a trippy three minute slot featuring a Ziggy Stardust lookalike, a Volkswagen camper van, a poo joke and a catchy English language musical ensemble.
The chorus urges listeners: “If you wanna know what China’s gonna do, best pay attention to the shisanwu.”
The colourful video marks one of the more interesting ways the Chinese Communist Party has put forward its social and economic measures to English speakers in recent years.
