Singer/songwriter Lisa Moorish has accepted phone hacking damages from the publisher of the now defunct News of The World, News Group Newspapers.

From 2000, Moorish, who is the mother of Liam Gallagher's daughter and Pete Doherty's son, was found to be the subject of numerous articles documenting supposedly private details about her children in addition to her financial and legal situations, according to the Guardian.

The undisclosed settlement comes as the result of a legal case launched in November which alleged the information was seized via phone hacking.

Damages include legal costs and remedy for the ill feeling evoked by the data intrusion.

Representing News Group Newspapers, Antony White QC said: “The defendant accepts that the claimant’s private information should not have been targeted in this way and accepts liability for its unlawful activity.”

Moorish simply tweeted the below.
