Chapel Down appoints ifour to promote latest crowdfunding campaign
Award-winning English wine specialist Chapel Down has appointed digital design agency ifour for a second time to assist with developing their investor pitch offer before embarking on a new round of crowdfunding for their Curious Drinks brand.
The appointment follows ifour’s involvement in the initial Chapel Down crowdfunding campaign in 2014. That project raised an impressive £3.95 million in just 24 days, which set a world record for the largest and fastest crowdfund to date.
ifour worked with Chapel Down and Curious Drinks to develop the overarching design theme, key messaging, advertising, infographics and the all-important share offer document that goes out via crowdfunding platform Seedrs to the huge pool of potential investors. Advertising support for the campaign includes national and regional print and tube advertisements.
The new campaign aims to raise at least £1 million with proceeds being used to construct a state-of-the-art new brewery and visitor attraction in the heart of Ashford, Kent. Frazer Thompson, chief executive of Chapel Down and Curious Drinks, said: “We were humbled by the overwhelming response to last year’s record-breaking Chapel Down crowdfund and hope to build an equally impassioned army of shareholders for Curious Drinks through this latest campaign.”
Graeme Hall, founder and creative director at ifour, said: “As Crowdfunding is becoming an increasingly popular way for startup businesses and more mature firms to raise money, we are keen to work with these organisations to help them frame their offer in a creative and engaging way to enable them the most success with their campaigns.”
In April of this year, ifour received the national ‘Creativity/Innovation’ award at the RAR Awards.
