The judging panel for The Drum Search Awards are being assembled, with the first names to sign up including Stephen Kenwright, director of search at Branded3; Matt Bush, Google agency director; Andy Jones, Yahoo head of search; and James Murray, Microsoft UK search advertising lead.

As the judging panel forms, entries have opened for the second year of the awards that aim to recognise and celebrate the most innovative, creative and effective search campaigns from UK-based outfits in both the PPC and SEO sectors.

In the past 12 months there have been major changes to the sector’s major platforms given consumers’ shift from primarily desktop-based media consumption to a more fragmented user journey.

Reflecting this, The Drum Search Awards will shine the light on the great data-driven work driving performance across screens, not just from agencies but search engines, tech providers and all other outfits active in the space.

The launch of The Drum Search Awards reflects our ongoing commitment to the search industry, and is the start of an editorial programme and calendar of events culminating with the awards ceremony on 8 June 2016, hosted in the Marriott Hotel on Grosvenor Square.

The awards are now open for entry at The Drum Search Awards website with a deadline of 4 March 2016, while any parties interested in sponsoring the gala event should contact Lesley Grant on 0141 559 1036.
