Publicis.Sapient and Lucid form AI partnership

Digital platform Publicis.Sapient has teamed up with artificial intelligence specialists Lucid to fast track an innovative new app for marketing and business.

The partnership will see Publicis.Sapient utilise Lucid’s advanced Cyc platform to assist clients in managing data within today’s digital environment to create fresh insights and capitalise on potential opportunities.

Under the deal Publicis.Sapient will also launch its own AI practice offering clients access to new services and applications in a market which is projected to amount $260bn by 2018. For its part Lucid will benefit from investment and access to marketing-specific sectors – branching out from established fields in financial services, energy and healthcare.

Cyc is differentiated from rival systems by its ability to show its ‘thinking’ to users, assisting organisations to solve problems quicker and better.
