Droga5 has announced a new partnership with Impulse to create an a new ad campaign for its global re-launch.

The New York-based ad agency, which also has offices in London, will add the fragrance brand to its growing roster of clients and will work with it to create an “impactful and memorable campaign that resonates with its loyal audience and new fans alike”.

Droga5 will be responsible for the Unilever brand’s global campaign which is expected to launch in 2017 and will be delivered across digital, TV, social and print in Europe, Australia, and Argentina.

Global brand vice president at Unilever, Eugenia Zalis, said it was “an honour” to partner with Droga5 in its quest to “have millennials fall in love with Impulse again”.

Zalis added that the brand was “undergoing an exciting new global re-launch and we are confident that we have now found the ideal partner to help us communicate this to girls all over the world.”

Amy Garrett, head of client development at Droga5 London, described the Impulse brand as having “a rich history of communicating with its audience of young women in famous, engaging and culturally resonant ways”.

She added that the partnership is a “fantastic opportunity to continue that rich history, but in a way that's on trend and beyond and the way love, romance and female confidence have changed.”

Since winning the Cannes Lions Independent Agency of the Year, Droga5 announced that it was closing its Sydney office as it looked to increase its focus on Europe. The agency has continued its work with sports brand Under Armour, last month releasing first global football campaign for the sports apparel brand featuring Manchester United star Memphis Depay.
