Grant Millar, currently UK chief executive, is to take up the newly created position of chief client officer and will join ZenithOptimedia Worldwide, while managing director Mark Howley has been promoted to UK chief executive.

Reporting to Belinda Rowe, global managing partner and UK chairman, Millar will now work alongside the network's global leaders. He was appointed as chief executive in January 2015 and has helped the business win pitches for Harvey Nichols, Uniqlo and Singapore Airlines.

Howley will take control of the strategic direction of the UK agency, building the group's 'Live ROI' approach to communications and driving integrated working across the network. He has been with the firm since 2000, first starting as business director.

Additionally, Natalie Cummins has been promoted from managing director of Zenith UK to managing director of ZenithOptimedia UK, while client partner Simon Fuller will assume the post of managing director. Rob Gold has been elevated from client partner to managing director of Optimedia UK.

Commenting on the shuffle, Rowe said: “I am absolutely delighted that Millar is able to build on his success at ZenithOptimedia UK by taking on this critical role in Worldwide.

"Howley's promotion to UK chief executive is also richly deserved. He has done fantastic work over the past couple of years building relationships with clients such as Aviva and Nestlé and taking charge of the operational running of the business," she added.
