Mother NY hires TBWA LA’s Peter Ravailhe as CEO

Former professional rugby player Peter Ravailhe is joining Mother New York as CEO.

He replaces co-founder and CEO of Mother New York Andrew Deitchman, who left the agency earlier this month.

Previously, Ravailhe served as managing director and global brand leader at TBWA\Chiat\Day LA, where he led accounts including Gatorade, AirBnB and Netflix.

In his new role, he will be tasked with leading Mother New York’s client roster which includes Target, Diageo, and Anheuser-Busch InBev.

Michael Wall, Mother global CEO, said: “It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that we announce Peter Ravailhe will be joining the Mother team. Peter has a wonderful blend of U.S. and international experience. He is a team player and knows how to lead and win business. This is an important role for him, and for Mother and our ambitions in the U.S.”

Mother has offices in London, New York and Buenos Aires.

Ravailhe began his marketing career in London where he worked with Virgin on the development of its health and well-being offering, Virgin Active. He then went on to hold marketing positions for Adidas in both France and Amsterdam.

He joined TBWA\ Sports\Lab in São Paulo in 2012 as managing director before moving to the agency’s LA office.
