At Disney’s D23 expo last month, Star Wars fans, artists, and designers had the chance to recreate the ‘The Force Awakens’ trailer using HP technology.
In the fan-designed video, artists digitally drew on individual frames from the trailer, which were then edited and stitched back together to re-make the ad ahead of the movie’s release in December.
Stars of the film, including John Boyega and Daisy Ridley, helped create the fan art trailer.
HP partnered with marketing innovation agency Giant Spoon and activation agency Infinity Marketing to create the experience.
