America in a nutshell: Trump, NFL, and Streamys drove last week's Twitter TV conversation

As to be expected, football drove the majority of last week’s social TV reactions on Twitter, but also to be expected, Donald Trump stole some of the thunder.

According to our analytics partner Canvs, the second Republican presidential debate last week drove 566,133 of the 5,314,383 total emotional reactions on Twitter. Trump, who is still leading in the polls among nominees, drove 23% of all Twitter debate conversation.

Among the most popular NFL ganes, Giants vs. Cowboys game had 16,604 tweeters expressing disappointment while Peyton Manning inspired 46,565 reactions (11,620 of which expressed hate).

· The second Republican presidential debate accounted for 11% of this week’s total reactions.

· The Streamy Awards inspired almost 180,000 reactions, 42% of which expressed love.

· Football, as a whole, drove the highest share of this week’s reactions with 37%.
