Bompas & Parr is to add a virtual reality experience to run alongside its 'breathable cocktail' bar Alcoholic Architecture in London's Borough Market.

The flavour based experience design company has teamed with FundamentalVR to launch a 360 degree video that will allow those not able to vist the pop-up bar to navigate around Alcoholic Architecture and follow around the man behind the experience Sam Bompas.

The video is available to a wide audience through YouTube as well as being viewable through Oculus and GearVR.

Speaking about the VR experience Bompas said: "The technology that FundamentalVR has developed allows you to step through a portal in space and time to another world. You can watch the content on a smartphone screen or a simple headset - allowing you to convincingly experience another place entirely removed from where you are. The equipment is the real-life manifestation of the gizmos that were once limited to pages of science fiction."

Alcoholic Architecture opened in August this year and contains a cloud of "breathable cocktail" and offers a drinks list made up of spirits and beers created by monks, such as Chartreuse, Trappist beer and Buckfast tonic wine.
