Now in their third year, The Drum’s Digital Trading Awards (DTAs) recognise the best in the ad-tech environment.

Open for entries today (17 September), advertisers, publishers, agencies, and trading desks in the digital media eco-system can enter to show they offer a high value service or technology.

There are also over 20 categories to contest this year, including Most Effective Media Agency, Most Innovative Publisher, Best Trading Desk and Best Overall Technology for Programmatic Trading.

James Patterson, general manager at The Trade Desk – headline sponsor of the awards - said: “We’re thrilled to celebrate the incredible work our partners and clients have produced over the past year. Credit to The Drum for driving such well-deserved recognition within the industry. There is much for us to be proud of.”

Emily Palmer, head of programmatic EMEA at Thomson Reuters Foundation and Nicole Holtsmark, head of programmatic trading and audiences at Telegraph Media Group are among those lined up to judge the awards. They will be joined by Pippa Glucklich co-chief executive at Starcom Mediavest, The First Space founder Lee Baker and Nigel Gilbert, vice president of strategic development at AppNexus.

Also on the panel is Facebook's chief of Atlas in the UK Andy Mihalop, who was previously head of network agencies and media platforms UK at Google.

Commenting on what he is looking for, he said: “I’m hoping to see entries that clearly support client strategy via data centric planning and use of technology and targeting to deliver measurable results. There is some incredibly innovative and sophisticated work being executed in unison by agencies, clients and technology vendors, so it will also be great to see examples of collaborative working.”
