Reynolds and Reyner: LaPierre Cosmetics Redesign
Brand: LaPierre Cosmetics
Title: Redesign
Agency: Reynolds and Reyner
Agency Website: http://reynoldsandreyner.com/
Creative Director: Artyom Kulik
Art Director: Alexander Andreyev
Copywriter: Alexander Andreyev
Published: September 2015
Short Rationale: "LaPierre Cosmetics company got its name after J.M. LaPierre, who was the founder’s mother. She died in 2014 from cancer and since that day the brand regularly donates $1 from each bottle of nail polish sold to support people who fight with this disease.
The previous LaPierre logo contained the Roman figure “III” as the founder’s mother was the third child in the family. Redesigning the idea we supplemented it with 'L' and 'P' letters that resemble an epee of a French musketeer, the same ideal and sharp like nails covered by LaPierre.
The word 'la pierre' originates from French and means 'a rock' which pushed to integrate the idea of split rocks into the corporate pattern to emphasize and discover the sense hidden in this name."
Mullen Lowe: Lovesac 'Love the Day Bostonians Hate #MovingDayLove'
Brand: Lovesac
Title: Love the Day Bostonians Hate #MovingDayLove
Agency: Mullen Lowe
Agency Website: http://www.mullenloweus.com/

Published: September 2015
Short Rationale: After furniture company Lovesac conducted a survey that found that nearly half of US adults would rather do something unpleasant, like go to the dentist, than move their couch, the brand decided to launch a fun social campaign to make moving a bit easier for Boston's residents.
Since more than two-thirds of Boston's rental units turnover on the same day - September 1 - Lovesac paired up with moving company Gentle Giant that day to deliver its 'easily movable' Sactional couches to anyone using the hashtag '#MovingDayLove' where users were encouraged to share their moving day struggles. The brand showed up at the doorsteps of Bostonians to get rid of their old couches and replace them with Sactionals, which come in two core pieces that combine piece-by-piece to create any size or shape couch. Above is a video that documents the day.
