Outbrain brings in Pinterest's head of partnerships Eric Hadley

Outbrain has hired Pinterest's Eric Hadley in the newly created role of global head of marketing solutions to promote the company's value to brands and agencies while overseeing the content discovery platform's agency partnerships around the world.

Hadley, who has worked with Yahoo, Microsoft and The Weather Channel, was previously head of partnerships at Pinterest.

He will be tasked with raising the profile of the company through strategic initiatives and premium partnership models.

Yaron Galai, chief executive and co-founder of Outbrain, commented: "Eric’s wealth of experience and knowledge will make him a key addition to this company, and his proven track record demonstrates his effectiveness in the art and science of marketing."

Hadley added: "Being able to lead the future growth of Outbrain with brands and agencies, and assisting in making their content marketing campaigns truly scale is a terrific opportunity that I am looking forward to the most.”

While at Microsoft, Hadley was involved in the launch of its search engine, Bing.
