SSE backs music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins Scotland with new partnership

Music therapy is grounded in the belief that everyone can respond to music, no matter how ill or disabled and can help people express emotions and communicate with others, improving the quality of life and wellbeing for people living with a diverse range of health conditions.

SSE, the title sponsor of The SSE Hydro, is also very proud to continue its support of live music in Scotland by becoming the title sponsor of the Scottish Music Awards, the annual star studded event that celebrates Scotland’s rich and diverse musical talent and raises money for Nordoff Robbins Scotland.

The newly titled SSE Scottish Music Awards will take place on 28th November in the Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow.

We always push ourselves so we can continue expanding our facilities across Scotland and every year it costs over £500,000 to provide music therapy to over 400 children and adults. This partnership is an ideal way to encourage donations from Scotland and beyond!”
