Mashable, IGN and Tastemade to join the growing Snapchat Discover publisher roster

Mashable, IGN and Tastemade are all set to join Snapchat's Discover section later this week.

The three publishers will join the social media outlet's video content distribution this week adding to existing partnerships from Buzzfeed, Daily Mail, Vice, National Geographic, People, Cosmopolitan, Comedy Central, ESPN, the Food Network, iHeart Radio and CNN.

Stacy Martinet, Mashable's chief marketing officer said that the title was "very excited to be joining Snapchat Discover".

Martinet described the the platform as "a unique storytelling format that puts the narrative first and allows for an exciting mix of videos, shareable interactives, animations, illustrations and articles like nothing else in digital storytelling".

She added: "The Mashable Discover channel will feature next level tech and digital culture in a way that's native to Snapchat."

At the time of writing it was unclear how all 15 channels would appear on Snapchat with space only available for the current crop of publishers.
