Omnicom’s TBWA Worldwide has merged two of its Canadian agencies, TBWA\Toronto and Juniper Park, to form a new shop called Juniper Park\TBWA.

The move comes as the global ad network aims to strengthen its North American presence in key cities including New York, LA, and Toronto.

CEO of Juniper Park Jill Nykoliation and chief creative officers Terry Drummond, Alan Madill and Barry Quinn will lead the office and will report to TBWA Worldwide president and CEO Troy Ruhanen.

President of TBWA\Canada and head of its Toronto office Jay Bertram is leaving the company at the end of September to “explore new opportunities.”

"I have truly valued my time at TBWA," Bertram said in a statement. “I give my full support to this merger of two great creative cultures, coming together to form a powerhouse agency to be reckoned with."

The two Toronto-based agencies will now be based in Juniper Park’s space and will work with clients including Miller Lite, PepsiCo, and Petro-Canada.

Juniper Park joined TBWA in March as the network looked to strengthen its footprint in the North American market and build out its design capabilities.
