Got a month's worth of ‘bottled water & tinned goods’? Spinman Damien McBride tweets Black Monday warning
Former Gordon Brown special advisor Damien McBride has issued a stark warning to his 14,000 Twitter followers on the back of Black Monday.
Heralding the end times (or more accurately a “looming crash”) McBride issued a number of forlorn tweets.
The panicked tweets implied the coming crash would be 20 times larger than that in 2008.
Advice on the looming crash, No.1: get hard cash in a safe place now; don't assume banks & cashpoints will be open, or bank cards will work.
