Rupert Murdoch tweets that Jeremy Corbyn is the only Labour candidate who believes in anything
Media mogul Rupert Murdoch has issued a (sort of) endorsement of Labour leadership front runner Jeremy Corbyn on Twitter.
In a move likely to vex Corbyn’s left wing following, Murdoch, who has at his helm a largely Conservative press, tweeted begrudging praise of the Islington North MP.
On Thursday morning he said:
Corbyn increasingly likely Labor winner. Seems only candidate who believes anything, right or wrong.

The tweet could pass as a criticism of Corbyn rivals Yvette Cooper, Andy Burnham and Liz Kendall, who are implied to be lacking in beliefs.
A previous tweet earlier in the week outlined just how success Corbyn's leadership would be in Murdoch's eyes however.
Corbyn? Very likely win, but Cameron does not deserve such luck.

The Murdoch press backed the Conservatives in the 2015 election following a prolonged media assault on then Labour leader Ed Miliband.
