The big day is here, the A-level results are in, and young people across the country are likely shedding tears one way or another.

It came as no surprise that #ALevelResults would immediately trend as a result of students sharing their results, emotions and GIFs (so many GIFs).

Brands were on the ball, ready and waiting to tap into the hashtag. They ultimately looked to catch the eyes of millennials keen to reward their own success... or spend until they feel better.

Below are some of the most engaging tweets sent by brands.

KFC

Boohoo

Nando’s

Coronation Street

ITV2

Cineworld

Netflix

Asos

Comedy Central

MTVUK

Pandora Jewellery

And finally L’Oreal Men Expert - we're unsure if this one's really good or really bad.
