Jennifer Aniston to be new face of Emirates airlines
Actress Jennifer Aniston is believed to have just inked a $5m deal to be the face of Emirates airlines.
According to the New York Post, Aniston – famed for her role in Friends – has already shot a high-profile campaign which will appear in TV and print worldwide.
The deal follows hot on the heels of Etihad Airways – one of Emirates’ biggest competitors – rolling out a multi-million pound global campaign fronted by actress Nicole Kidman.
Kidman was brought in to highlight Etihad’s “worldly sophistication, intelligence, originality, and elegance” for the ‘Flying Reimagined’ campaign.
Earlier this year, Emirates announced a £30m, three year sponsor of the FA Cup. Emirates Airline President Sir Tim Clark pointed to the FA Cup's "unrivalled heritage" and "global audience of more than 1.1 billion people" in his reasoning for the deal.
It most recent ad campaign featured football stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Pele and ran in the lead up to the World Cup.
