The latest ad campaign from Old Spice features its two outlandish stars in the one advert for the first time.

Terry Crews and Isaiah Mustafa face-off in the new 60 second ad with the pair competing against each other to advertise two different ranges of Old Spice grooming products.

The Smell-mitment ad campaign has the high-octane intensity of Crews and the suave demeanour of Mustafa coming together in the traditionally bizarre and comical manor which Old Spice adverts are renowned for.

Mustafa opens the ad wearing only a towel before seamlessly walking through a jungle and into a jeweller. While sitting on a canoe he is interrupted by Crews who sends him flying off-screen before exploding himself. A series of ridiculous scenarios then unfolds including an erupting volcano and an elongated motorcycle with five clones dressed in international garb and a tiger crashing into Mustafa’s head.

The two former NFL players have been friends for years, Mustafa tells Mashable that he thinks of Terry as an “older brother” and says he is “always asking him for advice because he's been in this business a lot longer than me."

The contrasting characters portrayed in the ads were shaped by each actor, Crews exaggerating his exuberant personality and Mustafa creating a smooth-talking ladies man which he says is “an amalgam of about seven different people who I've heard throughout the years — Billy Dee Williams, Adam West, Will Ferrell."

The ad can be viewed in full above.
