IAB relaunches its Creative Showcase Awards

The Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) is relaunching its Creative Showcase Awards from a monthly event to an annual ceremony.

The awards’ remit remains unchanged and so will continue to showcase cutting edge marketing in digital, spanning content and social media to mobile apps and video advertising.

While the focus remains the same, a host of new categories have been added in order to make sure the event recognises the full gamut of digital marketing in the UK. These additions include; best creative idea, most buzz-worthy content and most creative for a cause.

If the above piqued your interest then entries open on 18 August and close 25 September, with judging happening between 5 and 26 October. The award ceremony will take place at Electric Carousel, in Soho on the 2 December. Judges of the awards include several senior level creative directors from some of London’s most innovative agencies such as Ann Wixley from OMD, Becky Power from Mindshare and Dan Harrison from VCCP.

IAB’s marketing director Alex Kozloff said: “We’re really excited about the re-launch of our long standing awards. The Creative Showcase is well established amongst leading creative agencies and we want to ensure it remains forefront of mind and relevant to the industry. This is why we have decided to turn the awards from monthly into an annual event and make them bigger and better than ever before.”
