Presidential candidate Donald Trump has some unlikely new supporters in Boulder, Colorado.

Ad agency TDA Boulder has created a ‘campaign’ TV spot for its advocacy group ‘Hispanic Democrats for Trump’ that features three Hispanic presenters explaining why they hope Trump wins the Republican primary.

It says that since polls indicate that Trump could never win a general election, it will be a lot easier to get a Democrat into the White House if he becomes the Republican candidate.

'Hispanic Democrats for Trump’ even has its own website, which states: "We’re not a political party; we are something even more objectionable, we are an advertising agency. An advertising agency with some ethics and good intentions and we don’t like bullies. Mr. Trump has indicated he is many things – most of all a bully. This video is our unified stand on behalf of our co-workers, peers, friends and family members who are Hispanic. We’re offended by Mr. Trump’s assertions concerning Hispanic members of our community."

The ad will run in Denver during Jon Stewart’s final Daily Show on Thursday 6 August and in New York on adjacent Comedy Central programming.

TDA Boulder’s clients include French’s, Noodles & Company, and General Mills.
