In a Dragons Den-style competition, a number of tech start-ups recently pitched to work with brands including James Villa Holidays, Ultimo, and Grazia. Now you can watch how they got on.

The initiative from 7thingsmedia was aimed at matching tech start-ups to brands and saw emerging companies like Grabble and Viewsy pitch their ideas to a panel of experts including representatives from Facebook and digital entrepreneur Mark Pearson.

At the time of its launch, 7thingsmedia founder Chris Bishop, described it as ‘Dragons Den meets Mad Men’, and would give its clients “the opportunity to work alongside companies built to proliferate brand, data, distribution, innovation and technology.”

Brands involved included Charlotte Tilbury, James Villa Holidays,Grazia, Ultimo, Kurt Geiger and Konga.com.

The series of short films shows the pitching sessions and at the end of each, a winner is announced.

Those selected are now working with 7thingsmedia and the clients with a view to launching a activity at a later date.

The first video in the series (shown above) sees Mallzee, which describes itself as the 'Tinder for shopping' ,battle it out against marketing start-up Ometria to work with Grazia's e-commerce venture GraziaShop.

You can watch all six films via The Drum’s YouTube channel here.
