Mental_Floss begins search to find the smartest person working at a UK media agency
A competition to find the smartest person working within the UK's media agency sector has begun, organised by Dennis Publishing's recently launched fact-based website, Mental_Floss.
The Smartest in Media competition will aim to identify the most knowledgeable person working at a media agency over a four-week period through a UK-wide tour. An online leaderboard will be updated and shared on a weekly basis to allow all participants the opportunity to monitor the progress of the competition that will see the winner pick up £500 of vouchers.
Simon Brew, editor of mental_floss UK, explained that the title focused on knowledge and facts that made people naturally curious to learn more: "With The Smartest In Media, we’re looking forward to finding out just how much knowledge is hiding in people’s heads – and to see who the brainboxes of British media really are," he added.
The winner will be named at the Experimental Cocktail Club in London on 3 September.
Mental_floss expanded to open in the UK in December having been launched in the U.S in 2001.
