Amazon has brought its Prime Music service to the UK to offer Prime subscribers more bang for their buck.

Entering a quickly saturating market recently bloated with entries from Apple Music and Tidal, the firm will on top of it's video, literary and commerce offerings, provide access to a limited library of songs.

As part of the £79 a year Amazon Prime fee, the e-commerce firm boasts a one-million strong music back catalogue, a figure dwarfed by Apple Music and Spotify by a factor of 30.

As an added incentive, Amazon offers up a free one month Prime trial to anyone looking to check out its wares.

The service promises cross-platform compatibility, hundreds of genre specific playlists, and downloads of albums in MP3 quality for offline listening.
