The Drum is set to host an inaugural Retail and E-commerce Breakfast, giving retailers and agencies the chance to come together to debate key issues in the rapidly evolving sector.

The morning’s agenda will be based on some of the topics explored in the dedicated Retail and E-commerce issue of our award-winning magazine, out 22 July.

From social commerce and collaborating with start-ups, to innovation in the payment sector driven by the likes of Apple, online and high street retailers will debate how they are navigating these trends and the challenges they face.

Gracia Amico, chief executive of luxury pet accessories brand PetsPyjamas – just one of the brands set to attend – said: “Without a doubt commercial use of mobile devices will continue to increase and businesses without a responsive or mobile site will see a further conversion drop. As for shopping, I believe we are very near a new dimension of shopping where one can shop complete looks in real time, for instance as seen on TV, by using a new search recognition tool."

The event will take place on the morning of Wednesday 29 July at our Shoreditch offices and will be hosted by The Drum’s managing director Andy Oakes.

He said: “The Drum’s retail breakfast is a unique opportunity to discuss content within our dedicated retail issue, meet online and offline retailers, as well as key industry figures and key editorial staff.”

If you work in retail or an agency representing a retail brand then you are eligible for a free place at this event.

We are limiting the event to a maximum of 30 delegates. To register please visit the dedicated website by clicking here.
