Eurostar has strengthened its partnership with Dentsu-Aegis Network after consolidating its global and digital media accounts with the marketing communications company.

The two already work together on SEO services via Dentsu-Aegis Network’s 360i, however the agency now has an expanded remit of media planning and buying, PPC, programmatic and data transformation remit across the UK, France, US and Canada.

Dentsu-Aegis Network came out on top from what Lionel Benbassat, Eurostar’s head of marketing and brand, described as a “very competitive” pitch process.

He added that the company has“found a partner with the right balance of innovation, commercial rigour and customer orientation to support us in our journey towards being Europe’s most loved travel experience.”

Chris Whitelaw, iProspect’s UK chief executive was excited to have the opportunity to work with “such an interesting brief” and said the partnership had “energised and galvanised our entire organisation, and we can’t wait to get started.”

The decision was taken after a four month review and the new deal is set to start in August 2015.
