Ginger & Tom’s, a new “cat café” set to open in West Hampstead this Autumn, has unveiled its branding and pre-launch website, as created by IC Design.

The new café is being set up by Anna Kogan Nasser, co-founder of Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium in Shoreditch, London’s first cat café. No longer involved in Lady Dinah’s, Nasser thought a cat-themed café would bring some “excitement and quirkiness” to West Hampstead.

Rowana Batuwitage, design director at IC Design, said: “The brand feel is a colonial jungle, set to reflect the interiors. An illustrator was commissioned to create two cheeky cat characters, Ginger and Tom as well. The illustrations are complemented by a cool palette of muted greens and greys as well as Victorian style signposting that will direct users through the jungle.”

The agency is currently working on collateral and the full website, due to launch when Ginger & Tom’s opens for bookings later this year.
