Al Jazeera America is to cut out all morning news programming in the US, according to TV Newser. However, there is no word of staff cuts .

Al Jazeera: US cutbacks

Off-air staff will be reassigned to other shows or news hours, says the report, with many heading to primetime. The fate of on-air talent is unclear, but network insiders say they’re staying with AJAM.

Al Jazeera America plans to air programming from Al Jazeera’s main studios in Qatar in the mornings, U.S. time.

AJAM has been cutting costs drastically, including on costly remotes and live shots. Just last week, the network cut back on the use of a second New York studio.
