Sexual awareness charity's ad campaign uses a giant penis to get its message across
The Swedish Association for Sexuality Education, rfsu, has created a new advert featuring a man in a penis costume firing glitter at people in a bid to raise awareness of chlamydia and contraception.
The quick-fire advert shows the man sneaking up on people before bending over and spraying them in golden glitter from the top of the penis.
The ad, which has been viewed over 50,000 times in less than a week, closes with the caption “Penis can suprise you. Use condoms”. The advert was created by 19 year-old Philip van Eck who was hired by the charity to promote the use of condoms.
He said: “I thought it was hilarious. If I can do a good thing for others, just by being a dick, there is nothing better.”
The new ad campaign was launched in Norway after statistics revealed that almost 23,000 Norwegians contract chlamydia every year.
