Creative agency Absolute has staged a movie-themed launch party to mark the opening of a brand new purpose-built video production and photography centre at its studio in Bolton.

The new 3,000 sq ft facility will be headed up by Mark Holland, who joined Absolute in February from Manchester-based agency Origin, and will create up to eight jobs.

Holland said: “The brand new studio facilities at Absolute are up there with some of the best I’ve seen in the North West. It’s a great, creative space with plenty of room for clients, hair and make-up artists and stylists to work too. The launch party confirmed that there’s plenty room for everyone, even if your entourage is 80 people strong.”

Invited guests walked the red carpet, dined on American-style food and drank Absolute’s own bespoke beer, “Director’s Cut”, brewed especially for the occasion by local micro-brewery BlackEdge.

Chris Hodgen, managing director of Absolute, said: “The event was a celebration of the evolution of our business over the last couple of years. We now have some of the best facilities in the country to create great content for our clients, whether that’s via design, copy, photography or video.”

The new facility is also available for other agencies to hire, with or without support staff.
