Disney and Deadmau5 have come to agreement over the musician’s use of the mouse branding which the movie studio asserted was based on the likeness of Mickey Mouse.

Following Disney trying to block Deadmau5, real name Joel Zimmerman, from registering his mouse head as a US trademark last September, after a lengthy dispute both parties seem to have reached an agreement.

An attorney for Zimmerman told the Hollywood Reporter: “Disney and Deadmau5 have amicably resolved their dispute.”

The details of the deal have not been released although Disney looks likely to remove its opposition to the trademark entry.
