Taylor Swift’s latest album 1989 will not be on Apple Music
The Apple Music streaming app has been dealt a serious blow following the news that popstar Taylor Swift’s latest album will not be available online.
‘1989’ is absent from major streaming services, including rivals Spotify and Tidal, with label Big Machine Records pursuing physical sales of the album instead.
However, don’t panic Swift fans, the artist's entire back catalogue - with the exception of her latest content – will be available on Apple’s service.
Following Swift’s very public breakup with Spotify last year in a pay dispute which split the industry, the artist shifted five million copies of 1989, breaking sales records in 2014 and 2015.
