British cinema advertising company Pearl & Dean is set to launch a three-minute comedy brand film tomorrow (19 June) which will debut during the movie version of Entourage.

The Back of the Head film introduces the 'unseen hero of cinema', a character called Chad Jackson.

Devised by creative agency Brothers and Sisters and directed by Pulse Film's Ninian Doff, the film opens on what appears to be a film trailer for a war film, before switching to Chad who explains his role as a 'back of the head actor'.

Kathryn Jacob, chief exectuive of Pearl & Dean said the company has "always aimed to excite the cinema-going public with fresh ideas".

"This film stops you in your tracks, as you get engrossed in Chad Jackson’s story," she commented. "His narrative rightly draws you in, as the piece celebrates the unseen heroes behind the scenes in any film, in a clever, contemporary way; its wry humour will appeal to our audience."

TV comedy producer Lucy Robinson, who recently joined Brothers and Sisters in the new role of head of comedy, worked with creative directors Will Flack and Aaron Willmer to develop the idea.
