Publicis Worldwide expands Drugstore innovation facility
Publicis Worldwide Australia and ZenithOptimedia are preparing to open the doors of the second base for its innovation and startup consultancy offering, the Publicis Drugstore.
The business will offer clients digital innovation strategy, training, tech immersion and programs for driving, engaging and working with startups to deliver marketing innovation.
The purpose of the Drugstore is to bring Publicis Worldwide and ZenithOptimedia clients closer to the entrepreneurial thinking of the startup sector to help them manage industry disruption and embrace collaborative working.
Publicis Founder – Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet– introduced the American Drugstore concept to France in the fifties, with the insight of consumers benefitting from having different businesses together under one roof. Today, the premise underpins Publicis Worldwide’s innovation offering; the Drugstore launched in London last year (October 2014) and in Sydney this month (June 2015).
The London and Sydney Drugstores will collaborate closely to share knowledge and new initiatives.
Arthur Sadoun, global CEO of Publicis Worldwide commented: "The expansion of the Publicis Drugstore innovation facility is the living proof of our dedication to offering all of our clients real innovation on a global scale."
The start-up phases of Drugstore Sydney will be managaed jointly by Publicis Worldwide and ZenithOptimedia and will be housed in the Sydney offices.
