Oculus Rift unveils new logo design ahead of ‘special event’
Virtual reality company Oculus Rift has redesigned its logo and added a new typeface in lowercase letters ahead of a “special event” planned for later today (11 June).
The new logo features a flattened oval atop the word Oculus, replacing the eye that brand previously featured. It will begin to roll out over the next few weeks.
The re-design comes ahead of an event in San Francisco where Oculus will talk about the future of virtual reality, gaming, and the hotly anticipated consumer Rift.
The event takes place at 10am Pacific Time (6pm GMT) and will be live streamed on Oculus.com and Twitch.TV.
Oculus has also given a sneak peak of what its consumer headsets may look on its event landing page, showing the image of a goggle.
