Mapp Media to represent Ultimate Rugby for World Cup

Mapp Media has signed a deal with Ultimate Rugby to represent the app and website platform exclusively in the UK throughout the Rugby World Cup 2015.

The contract will see Mapp build up the app's presence in the four months prior to the tournament kick-off on 18 September, courting brands to partner with the channel with advertising campaigns channelled at an audience of 1.5 million users.

Ultimate Rugby founder Brian O’Driscoll, said: “Ultimate Rugby connects with an enthusiastic set of rugby fans, and working with Mapp Media means we can provide them with only the most relevant advertising and content.”

Mapp Media director Nathan Warner added: “With the Rugby World Cup not much more than 100 days away, interest from the public is growing fast. We are looking forward to delivering some innovative, effective campaigns for advertisers that appeal to Ultimate Rugby’s highly-engaged user group.”

Available on iOS, online and Android Ultimate Rugby provides real-time updates for teams and players for all tier one clubs worldwide.
