YouTube, Google, and Amazon are top three brands among US millennials, according to Voxburner
YouTube, Google, and Amazon top the list for favorite brands among people in the US ages 16-24, according to Voxburner’s Youth 100 report.
Hershey came in fourth, followed by Netflix and many snack brands including KitKat, Doritos, and Pringles.
For the survey, users were prompted to choose their feelings toward each brand: ‘love,’ ‘like,’ ‘no feeling,’ ‘dislike,’ and ‘hate,’ rating their sentiment around 50 randomized brands. Top brands are the ones that have the highest combined scores of loves and likes.
Simon Eder, founder of Voxburner, said in the report: “Some categories are very hard to compete against. How can an internet service provider ever hope to be more popular than a chocolate maker? Really, the most important figures here are not the overall rankings, but the sentiment scores: is your brand loved or hated...or does it arouse no feeling whatsoever?”
Survey respondents consisted of 1,500 16-24 year-olds in the US.
