Digital experience agency Siteworx has promoted president Ken Quaglio to CEO and founder Tim McLaughlin to board chairman.

Quaglio joined Siteworx as president and COO last summer to oversee direction, growth, and long-term profitability. Through his career, he has held senior positions at firms including Ernst & Young and EDS.

Of his appointment, Quaglio said: “I look forward to continuing the agency’s momentum as we diversify into key sectors like manufacturing, expand our eCommerce capabilities and services, and deliver effective digital experiences that build more genuine customer connections for our clients.”

McLaughlin co-founded Siteworx and has served as CEO since 2002.

“The company would not be where it is today without the passion and dedication of the entire team working tirelessly to deliver innovative solutions and results to our clients. I look forward to continuing to serve the company in my new role,” he said.

Siteworx has worked with brands such as Time Warner Cable, Citrix Online and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

The announcement is the latest in a string of appointments at the agency. Earlier this year, it hired Liz Duggan as eCommerce director and former Ogilvy executive creative director Greg Johnston as executive creative director.
