72andSunny Amsterdam has hired director of brand management Tom Griffin to help nurture diversity and champion a culture of self-expression within the agency.

His role will be to harness how different cultures respond to new ideas as the agency looks to build its reputation around a more modern, entrepreneurial approach to working collaboratively with brands. This will see him assume responsibility for developing a diverse team of creatives and devising a road map for personal growth for 72andSunny staff.

Griffin will also lead the agency’s Google account, which is predicated on the ethos of constant disruption and development.

72andSunny Amsterdam’s managing director, Nic Owen said: “This company interests me every day because we are equally obsessed with working out smart ways to do great for our brands and do great by our people. I am excited to see how Tom helps us nail both these vital things.”

Prior to 72andSunny, he was client services director at Anomaly London, working on global accounts for brands such as ASOS, Budweiser, Sony Electronics and Universal Music.
