Creative agency Founded has hired The Marketing Store’s new business boss Cameron Day to head up growth on new and existing clients.

He joins the creative shop as director of business development that will see him focus on how to create a bigger platform for what it believes is an alternative approach to marketing to what advertisers are currently served with.

Built on the ethos of forging more collaborative ties to advertisers at a time of increased financial pressures on the discipline, Founded is building its USP around the belief that big creative ideas can genuinely shift the commercial needle.

Day is tasked with communicating this to both the agency’s existing and prospective partners as it embarks on a recruitment drive as well puts the finishing touches to its new US office on the West Coast. It launches in the summer and will be used to foster its fledgling ties to technology brands in the region. Additionally the agency plans to launch production and development arm at the end of the year.

Day joins from The Marketing Store where he was new business director and worked with brands such as Adidas and McDonald’s. He has also held similar roles at Iris and RPM in an 18-year career that has spanned clients including Mini, Carlsberg, Sainsbury’s, Diageo, PlayStation and Coca-Cola
