With Father’s Day just around the corner, Whirlpool has released a spot called ‘Dad & Andy’ that celebrates single and stay-at-home dads.

The ad aims to show how using the company’s products can help make everyday life a bit easier as dads increasingly spend more time with housework and childcare duties.

Although the father featured in the ad says he “doesn’t drink out of a best-dad-in-the-world mug,” his love for his son is shown as he makes his lunch, leaves him notes in his lunchbox, and attempts to make cookies for him even though he burns them.

Created by DigitasLBi, the video is part of Whirlpool’s ‘Every day, care’ campaign that launched last fall.
