360i London, the Dentsu Aegis owned digital marketing business has appointed Fallon's managing director James Townsend as chief executive.

Townsend will replace Rob Connolly, who is to move back to Northern Ireland after six years within the Dentsu Aegis Network to pursue a new venture.

Bryan Wiener, chairman of 360i, commented: “James' experience and accomplishments in helping clients creatively build their brands, as well as his alignment with 360i’s ‘Powered by Curiosity’ ethos, make him the perfect fit to lead our London office. His work advising industry leaders will only strengthen our UK footprint and business. We welcome James to our leadership team.”

The news follows Fallon's hiring of Gareth Collins as chief executive, moving from AMV BBDO, as revealed by The Drum earlier today.
