Wyndham Hotel Group has launched a $100m global campaign featuring ‘Game of Thrones’ actor Kristofer Hivju to build hype around its new rewards program.

With Hivju playing the part of the ‘Wyndham Rewards Wizard,’ the playful campaign aims to show consumers the simplicity of its reward points earning structure with the tagline, ‘You’ve Earned This.’

Created by People Ideas & Culture, it will debut globally with a focus on the US and Canada, with numerous TV spots on networks including ABC Family, ESPN, and TBS.

Spots include ‘Crystal Ball,’ ‘Family,’ and ‘Honeymoon.’

The campaign will also run across radio, digital, and on-property at more than 7,500 hotels worldwide.

Josh Lesnick, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Wyndham Hotel Group, said: “We are thrilled to launch a marketing campaign that uses a fun, whimsical approach to show how simple and easy it is for members to earn and redeem the rewards they deserve across our portfolio of iconic brands.”

Wyndham’s portfolio include brands such as Ramada, Travelodge, and Knights Inn.
