Google dominates ranking of world’s largest media owners
Google has widened the gulf between it and the chasing pack in the latest ranking of global media owners to be filed by Zenith Optimedia.
A top thirty report filed by the firm shows Google cementing its top dog status by ‘significantly’ extending its advantage over second placed Disney, growing from just 115 per cent larger last year to being 136 per cent bigger this time round.
To put the scale differential into context Google is also larger than both Disney and Comcast (the third largest challenger) combined, says Zenith's report.
